On-Screen Takeoff is easy to use and learn and allows users to quickly measure quantities from electronic project plans (CAD, PDF, image files) with great accuracy.  You can count objects, and measure lengths, areas and volumes.

Benchmark Estimating is licensed to sell OST to customers as a stand alone product or as an integrated takeoff/estimating solution with our own Benchmark Estimating Software system.

Integration with Vectorworks BIM

Integrating your design and estimating processes has never been easier with our new Vectorworks Plugin that integrates Benchmark Estimating Software with the complete Vectorworks product portfolio.

The integration allows you to produce a take-off from a 3D drawing that can then be used in Benchmark Estimating Software. This means that designers and contractors using Vectorworks Landmark or Vectorworks Design, for example, can generate a take-off from their design in the Vectorworks BIM software and then import it into Benchmark Estimating Software to generate a Schedule of Quantities. Once generated, the Schedule of Quantities can be used to produce a detailed and accurate quotation of the job using the powerful pricing features within Benchmark Estimating Software.

Spreadsheet based Quantity Takeoffs

Benchmark Estimating Software’s built in Quantity Takeoff feature allows you to perform detailed Item quantity calculations in spreadsheet based Quantity Takeoff Sheets. Your Takeoff sheets are stored in a central library or can be created on a project by project basis.

The Quantity Takeoff Sheet to the right is a simple example of how the total volume for a number of trenches within a Project can be quickly and accurately calculated.
